In a windows 2000 work station In My Computer(right click)
Properties I changed the computer from a Domain to a
workgroup and after rebooting cannot logon. I do not know
the administrator password. Is there anyway to recover
this.

I suggest that you ask your Domain Administrators (call the IT-support). In
general, home users do not use a domain, and i think that you accidently
removed the computer from the corporate domain. Only the IT-support of your
company can fix this.

If this is wrong assumptions, please let us know. There are several ways to
"reset" the administrator password, but it is a dangerous action and can
cause problems, and it is also only recommended for advanced users.

Greetings --

By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, you have
destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so,
you have also rendered any domain login credentials as invalid. You
need to be physically connected to the domain network, you need to
have administrative privileges to the workstation, and you need to
have administrative privileges on the domain. Then you can add the
machine back on to the domain, after having first deleted the
computer's old domain account (unless you've also renamed the
computer).
