Cannot lock file error 3050 message

When someone else has opened our database from another computer I get the
"Cannot Lock File Error 3050" message, and cannot view the database. I'm the
administrator for it and I can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions.

Does that person have Read/Write/Delete rights on the folder that the
database is in? If not, they need to have them.

use a real database format.

if you are the administrator-- grow some balls and upsize it to SQL
Server

I am having the same exact problem, I just made a post....

This person was using the Database fine yesterday. Other people are looged
into it right now, but I do not see how that matters... I am new to rolling
out a databse, so I'm not sure what the error could mean...

Please let me know if you have any suggestions, Thank you!
