Cannot laod the mail service

For the past week, I have received this message "Cannot load the mail
service. Check your mail installation." everytime I try to send something via
e-mail from any of the Office 2007 applications. I have run the repair,
removed Office 2003 and tried everything I can think of.

Anyone have any suggestions short of uninstalling and reinstalling?

Bob,
I am experiencing the same issue. And I even reformatted and reloaded my system. Now I have installed the following applications which may have affected my MAPI config:
Adobe Acrobat 8.0
Exchange System Manager
ActiveSync 4.2

Let me know if you have any of these installed. I tried to remove ActiveSync, but that did not seem to help.
