Cannot install SP4

When i try to install SP4 on my Win2K SP3
Error message "The core system file (kernel) is not for
Microsoft Windows..please search the knowledge base blah
blah blah..."

How to fix it? thx

This behavior may occur if the computer has a modified version of the
Ntoskrnl.exe

file that uses the /KERNEL switch in the Boot.ini file. This condition may
exist

because your computer has a third-party program such as Resource Hacker,
BootXP or

Winblind.

1. Restore the original ntoskrnl file

2. Remove the /kernel switch
