cannot find server

until recently my IE worked fine but now it will not display any page of any
website i visit. my internet connection is working fine using netscape.
sometimes i get a message saying "internet explorer cannot open the search
page" or something similar. the usual "cannot find server" is displayed. i
have tried to fix IE but with no success. any ideas???

Windows version?
Please post back some of the URLs you cannot access.

windows xp sp1 and any address i put in, i still get the cannot find server
message
