cannot enable cookies

I'm still unable to access hotmail after downloading IE6,
with security set to "accept all cookies". I've added
msn.com, passport.net, and passport.com to the approved
list to always accept cookies. Can you help?

Thanks.

You may have to add the site to your approve list.

Blocking Unwanted Cookies with IE 6
There are several new features built-in to IE 6, one of
them is the ability
to accept and\or block any or all cookies if desired.

Since I downloaded IE6 this week, I can't access hotmail
because cookies are not enabled. But I've set security to
accept all cookies. I'm running Windows ME.

I also did the following but still no success:
* Turned off AdSubtract.
* Deleted msn.com from Favorites.
* After a power-off reboot, closed all open programs
including Norton antivirus, and re-downloaded and re-
installed IE6, then restarted machine.

I still get the message that cookies are not enabled!
Thanks in advance for any help on this!

I have the same problem. I turn off everything I can think
of both in IE and my firewall, virus, no-pop etc. and I
still cannot access certain sites. The Taliban could march
into my computer now but I can't get Classmates.com!
