cannot empty deleted items folder

Hi all,
Can someone assit me as to why I cannot empty the deleted items folder on
the email?
Is says unknow error occured. ahhhh

Hello,

It seems that your mail store is corrupted. I don't think there is a way to
fix this, other than removing the entire mail store, and starting over. This
problem is also common to Windows Live Mail Desktop beta. You will need to
find where Windows Mail stores your mail, go to that directory, and delete
all the files in there, and then, restart Windows Mail.

Some have reported that the problem eventually fixes itself.

No, the only files that actually need to be deleted are the database files.
You do NOT have to delete the actual message files. That would destroy
everyone's messages to do that.
