cannot download live messenger

No matter where I try to download windows live messenger from I get, "This
Page Cannot be displayed".

I have cleared everything, even done a system restore but I still get this
error. As a matter of fact I cant download anything from the Microsoft web
pages.

set your internet security options and privacy in default and run the link

And in case this might help I do have messenger 4.7 but stll cant upgrade.

Just for general purpose. I went way back and did a system restore and now
have messenger 7.5 again. But I still cant download anything off
micorsoft.com. Well I guess I dont need it.

I cannot download anything from Microsoft either.
I can download anything else but from Microsoft?

It's strange but now I can download from microsoft. I didnt do anything, it
just started working. Strange.

This problem is driving crazy!
I can download updates fine. Arghh...
