Most likely no one has replied because the question is too vague to be
answerable. Please post again and tell us which version of Windows 98 and
which version or IE6 (SP1 or no SP) you're running. Describe in complete
detail what you're doing and what happens when you do it. We don't have
any way of knowing what you mean by "can't display pages," so you have to
tell us. Do you get a blank screen? An error message? If so, qute it
exactly and completely. That's the only way anyone can help.

Hi!

The error I get :

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties,
or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Please try the following: Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is
spelled correctly. To check your connection settings, click the Tools
menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click
Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area
network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). <<

It was IE6. Not sure which SP. Now I have ver IE5 : 5.00.2614.3500, b/c I
tryed to reinstall IE and went
back to 5. But now I cannot install IE6, b/c it's trying to download
something from net and cannot (and yes, I am trying full setup, not just
ie6setup.exe! )

Windows is 98SE (and it was mentioned in 1st message BTW)

Thanks

Thanks !

WinsockFix.zip solved the problem!

(It suggested to remove ALL protocols, and
my network connection went lost until I figured out which protocols to put
back.)
