Hello,

The entries may be corrupted.

It is recommended to have a backup in case something goes wrong with Chkdsk.

Start > Run > CHKDSK /F > OK > Y > Restart PC

I have an Icon on my desktop that I "cannot delete file -- cannot read from source file or disk" The file type just says "File" It has 0 bytes. It does not list using a command prompt, and it won't rename or delete from destop or windows explorer. Any ideas?

If you are posting through a newsserver, do a search for "test" in the
group list; for example microsoft.test
