Cannot connect to AD but network fine

Hi,

We have a user who has recently started having some weird network problems.

While using his laptop on a wired network all of a sudden the icon will
appear for offline files. Then when we try to connect to any server or
network resource the PC just complains that its not online and cannot access
anything. Network drives will not connect, UNC paths dont work.

However the network is fine, he can ping all the relavant file servers,
browse the web, send and recieve email. Just not any network servers. The
only solution is to logoff and back on again.

Hi there Danny,

Try saving all of his local files to a network share and then blow away the
local user profile on the laptop. Have him log back in and see what happens.
Maybe he's got a bad token?
