while installing driver for link to toshiba notebook,
error message file needed, usbscan.sys file needed. No
help when asking Toshiba, said it is a windows problem

what do you mean by "link to Toshiba notebook", are you trying to connect
your camera to a laptop or view the card via the PCMCIA slot or what?

I am having the same problem with my A40. Load the software and drivers from CD. When trying to upload images from my camera through the USB, I receive the message that usbscan.sys cannot be located.
