can you import more than one picture at a time in power point?

I am making a Power POint presentation with photographs from a vacation.
Must I import the pictures one at a time or is there a way to import a group
into the slides to save my time?

I have the pictures in numerical order and it would be great to import them
into the slides of the PP presentation.
