can some one install Win XP without any CD-Key or Serial number ?

Is it possiable to install Windows XP without any CD-KEY or Serial number??

Don't just think, it is a stupid question.
I have already installed Windows 98 and Windows ME, without any CD-KEY or
serial number.
I am not a hacker or bad people like something, it was just a requirement of
time, I tried and I got success.
I hasn't yet tested the method on Windows XP.

What I actually want to know, does some one thinks, if it is possiable to
install windows without CD-KEY?

No, unless you purchase a new computer with Windows XP
preinstalled and the computer manufacturer instituted a BIOS-
lock feature.

I can install Windows XP in normal, no problem with BIOS or something like
that.
I am just asking an advanced question.
I am sorry, but I don't thinkk you were able understand me.

What an attitude... Hey Fahid, where is this mobile phone registered -
Bosnia? Kosovo? The best timesaver is a working image.

Better cheats than you have managed to resolve this in another way. Microsoft
and other software is avaiable throughout Asia in pirated form and doesn't
need to be activated.

Some of the pirates will end up in gaol [jail for the Americans], others
will go on making money.

If the pirates gave up their practice, then maybe the end user price of
software would drop. ANd then maybe hell will freeze over.

The production (unmodified) copies of Windows XP - Retail, OEM and Volume
Licensed - all require the input of a valid Product Key during the install
process. You cannot progress beyond that point in the install process
without input of a valid key.

Well, my actuall purpose for posting this message was to inform MicroSoft,
because I hasn't ever heard it before that some one can install Windoows
without a Serial number.
I was trying to find some way to inform MS since I did it for first time.
Atlast I get this way to do this, and I think MS should have been informed
now.

Looking back over your posts, you are not informing at all, you are asking.
However now you seem to make an unsupportable claim.

You are incorrect. You cannot progress through a manual setup of an
unmodified copy of Windows XP without entering a valid product ID.
If you wish to claim otherwise - please send me full details and all steps
to reproduce this process via an e-mail. (you should be able to figure out
which piece of my e-mail address to remove to allow direct mail).

I can't tell you any thing , untill I'm not sure that you are well wisher
for MS.
I don't want to spread a new hack against MS, I respect MS. I want to
support them, not to create more problems for them.
However, my moethod is really useful and 100% working on all Windows 98 and
Window Me disk (uncracked on unmodified).

***Disk of your choice (Win98 and Me only yet),
***Give me the PC of your choice (not the slow ones, I hate when it takes
too long to instal windows, on slower machines.).
*** And I will install Windows 98/Me without entering any CD-Key/Serial
nimber (with 100% guaranty).

How can you say that so surely man ?
No one can install any version of Microsoft Windows untill a valid cd key
isn't entered.
one must have to enter it to continue with setup.

You need to re-read the thread.
Pay particular attention to the references to Windows XP,Windows ME and
Windows 98.
You are not keeping them straight.

J

Jupiter Jones [MVP]

Windows 98/ME is not to important.
But if you read the thread again you will see Mike is referring to Windows
XP.
Mike is saying you can not do it with Windows XP but you responded "my
moethod is really useful and 100% working on all Windows 98 and Window Me"
Those are not the issue, Windows XP is.

oh, now I got it. Thanks for help.
I said it in the begining, I hasn't yet tried it for Windows XP,
Because, currently I don't have a Windows XP Instalation CD. as soon I will
get one.
I will try my method there, but just having a normal idea "I think it can
work for XP as well", but still I am not sure for XP.
As soon as I test my method for XP, I will post the result here.

Windows ME and Windows 98 are very similar.
Windows XP is completely different.
A radically different process would be necessary with Windows XP even if it
is possible.

Sir,
I hasn't yet tested my mothed on Windows XP, because I don't have Windows XP
instalation CD.
As soon as I get an instalation CD for XP, I will try and post the result
here.
However, personally I do think "I can get success in XP as well", but that's
not sure yet .

I am not asking you to publish your exploit - I am asking you to send it to
me directly at my Microsoft address.
If you doubt my genuine nature - please just send me an introductory email
and I will reply to you directly.

Please note I am not interested in your ME or Win 98 exploits but am very
interested if you believe you can use a regular retail Windows XP CD and
install without using a product key.

Please note I am a Microsoft employee. You can see me working on the online
technet chat transcript as an expert - see one at
