I nave organised My Pictures with many folders and
subfolders. All folders and subfolders are of type
Picture.
When I select all in the My Pictures folder and choose
View as slide show, it only shows all pictures in My
Pictures and the subfolders one level deep. How can I
show all pictures all levels deep?

Unfortunately it can't as far as I'm aware of. What I've
done is to download and install the cd slideshow tweak
tool below. Copy and paste just photographs to your cd
writer and use windows xp's built cd writing software. It
will give you an option to make an autorun that will
automatically play a slideshow. On the cd you'll find
gdiplus.dll & autorun.exe copy the autorun.exe file to
your My Pictures folder and run.

It will show all the photos in the sub directories as a
slideshow. On non-windows xp machines the gdiplus.dll can
be copied to c:\windows folder and the autorun.exe file
can then be copied and used wherever you want to see a
slideshow. (Note you may need to goto tools, folder
options and select show hidden files and folders to see
these files on the burnt cd.)

Thanks for your information.

However, it is quite cumbersome and requires burning a
CD. I don't really like to do that, as I keep adding
pictures to the various picture folders.

I do have a method of showing all pictures, but also that
requires some actions.

I was hoping it would be something simple like a setting
that allows you to show all pictures in all subfolders.

If you're interested in the way I do it now, just let me
know and I'm happy to share it with you.

Regards,
Minne
