I am in tempoarary housing using a cable modem. My ISP at home is Comcast. I
have not a clue what it is here? I can receive email but get the following
error message for sending:

iTask 'Sue Comcast - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is
unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).'

I have checked my settings according to Comcast's instructions and
everything seems to be fine. Other than providing these instructions, Comcast
does not support issues dealing with Outlook.

I have used the same settings at other temporary locations without any
trouble.

Can you access and send your mail through Comcast's website? Also doublecheck
that you have the correct server name or port. It could also be that the ISP
you're using to connect to the internet is blocking access to port 25 (email)
to any server but their own, in an attempt to reduce SPAM.
