Can not send/recieve email messages.

I am sorry to say but for some reson I can't seem to send or receive
messages in Windows Mail. When I do it says there is a server error, I have
set up all my servers acrording to my host witch is Charter but I get the
same thing. Could someone please help me resolve this problem? Thanks.
