I have windows vista basic, I imported all my emails from my old outlook
express 6 to the all new windows mail, everytime I opened windows mail,
Mcafee scans all my emails which is really frustrating me but can not seem to
get rid of this action, what really is bothering me, when I click my inbox to
see the unread emails I do not see any emails (new or old) it just gives me
blank screen in the windows mail pane. I see the count of emails in the inbox
header but don't seem to see any of my emails in the pane??? what is going
on?? HELP SOS

Your course of action seems pretty well self-evident.
Get rid of that POS McAfee antivirus, which is not compatible
with Windows Mail. See http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 .
After you uninstall McAfee antivirus, reboot and try
Windows Mail again. Once you get your email working properly,
download and install a less intrusive antivirus program such as the
free Avast. Whichever antivirus program you keep, be sure to
disable its email scanning option.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident program.
Beside that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail.
