can not open any links on outlook 2003

I am unable to click onto ANY links in my outlook and have them open up in
expolrer like they used to. Instead.. for some reason... when i click on the
link it opens up a "open up link browser" box and the fule types are
"executable files"
This never used to happen, I do not know why this started.

Can someone help me out? I tried right clicking to open, but i do not get
any choices other than view properties... (no "open with" rtc)

and in the "open up link browser" frame i have tried explorer and other
files just to see if it would work.

i just want my old setting back.. in which i would CLICK and it would OPEN =)

Thanks!

Did you try resetting the internet settings - Control panel, internet
options - click the Reset button. You may also need to set IE as the
default browser - if you want another browser default, verify it works with
IE as default before changing browsers.
