I had a web site which was created with FrontPage 2003 and the domain name
expired without my knowledge. Is there any way to get the site back? My web
hosting company says they can't get it, but the tech I spoke with said he
thought that FrontPage automatically saved a local copy. Is this true or do
I have to rebuild my site and make sure I have a back up this time!!! Thanks
for any assistance.

If you've been working on your webs on your local machine and Publishing up to your host server...yes, you've already got it. This is the way you should be working, btw.

Otherwise...unless your host can enable a backup for you you're probably outta luck.

Get a book and learn what this web site development stuff
is all about. The money for the book and reading it will
save you a lot of aggravation. I would suggest "Microsoft
Front Page 2003 Inside Out" by Jim Buyens.

Additionally, the service that provides the domain name
should remind you that the subscription for your domain
name is almost up. If yours doesn't, fire them and get
someone who will do this.

No, You have to save a local copy on your computer.....otherwise the site on the
server is all there is.
