Can I password protect a folder?

Is there any way I can put a password on my Temporary
Internet Files folder so I can see what internet sites
are being accessed on my computer? Sick of my little
brother looking at Porn on my computer. I can't lock him
out of the whole computer so I just want to lock the
folder.

No, Windows does not have a feature to password-protect folders. And I'm
not sure how putting a password on there would help you see what people are
doing. (Just look in the folder if you want. Were you trying to prevent
him from erasing the temporary internet files?)

You might want to activate Content Advisor if you have concerns about people
browsing pornography. It's not perfect, but it helps. Have a look here:

It might also be a good idea to create a separate user account for your
brother to log into the computer with, so he doesn't mess with your settings
or files.
Look here for info on that:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/howto/gettingstarted/sharing/accounts.asp

I hope this helps.
