Folder Lock App ???

Hi Folks, running XP Pro SP2/Office Pro 2002 and have always wanted to be
able to password protect files/folders but to no avail in Windows ...
password protect .zip files unreliable and lock up in time.

Downloaded an App called Folder Lock

which is highly rated and it simply crashed my computer repeatedly ... aaagh

Apparently, Folder Lock writes a system file that causes this to happen ...
I have uninstalled Folder Lock and now have "windrvNT.sys" ... can I delete
this file safely ???
