Can I make one 300GB partition?

Hello I just installed a Maxtor 300GB SATA hard drive and Windows XP creates
a 127GB and 151GB partition.
(after installing Maxtor's big drive utility and Windows service pack SP1-A)
Does anyone know where to go for info on how to create one BIG 300GB drive
C: witha single partition?
right now I have 127GB drive C:, and Drive D: is a DVD ROM and now Drive E:
is the secobnd hard drive partition showing 151GB. Any help would be great!

You probably need to enable 48-bit Logical Block
