Hello all,
I currently have windows ME and Red Hat Linux on a dual-
boot system. I want to purchase XP and get rid of ME
since ME sucks so much and i also want to get rid of
Linux. Can i just get rid of my linux partition so i have
all the memory all on one partiton so i can install XP on
it? Is there a way to do this?

thanks!

Yes, no problem. When you boot from the XP CD-ROM, it will get to a point
where is shows you your existing partitions, and gives you a choice, where
you want to install Windows. First, select each partition, then delete it.
Then you'll see only one large partition...tell it to install XP there.

When you install the retail version of XP from the CD, you will have options
to create/delete/format partitions as part of the installation.
