Can .BMP files be changed into .WMF files?

I want to change my .BMP & .JPEGs into .WMF(windows
metafile) but MS Paint & Photo Studio do not save in .WMF
format. Also, R. click save as command on internet does
not offer .WMF choice. Thanks.

The freeware IrfanView can save as Enhanced
Metafiles .emf.

Also...Picture It! 2002 and newer will save as .emf.


Just wondering why you would save all your image
files in this format? I thought it was generally used
for clipart
