Can anyone help me with Attachment problem?

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me. On certain times when I try to open some
attachments, I get a message that says " This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the
folder options control panel." I don't know what to do. I don't see
anything like this it the folder options control panel. Can anyone help
me? Thanks for reading my post.

Also if you do a google search on "Create file association xp" you'll find
a section with a series of fixes from Doug Knox already prepared to fix
associations hich have been damaged or changed.
