I am missing a E2561412.cab file. This error message came up when i was
prompted to instal when opening Excel program. Seems like this is an
oft-happening problem. Please help.

Hi Nick

thanks for responding. problem is, I don't have the disk, went missing, and
Microsoft and Dell wouldn't replace the disk, even tho it's a licensed copy.
Wonder if I could get the file from somewhere.

I would go back to MS, if it's licensed I've never known them not supply
replacement media for a modest shipping charge

You are unlikely to get the file any other way. At least not legitimately

Hi Nick

Being an OEM copy, i was being turned down, but was asked to enquire from
Dell, who in turn said I couldn't get it coz it's a licensed copy, and they
can't make another one for me. So right now, I'm playing 'pass the buck' with
MS and Dell. By the way, I've called the MS office in SIngapore, and the
person that spoke to me is Suresh.

What's qworse is, I'm currently overseas and it's just making things rally
tough for me.

sometimes, yuo really wonder if it's better to get fake copies, at least you
can get replacement cheaply, and without the hassle.

(ps, don't worry, it's just a thought, pretty much the same as lots of
folks. Gargantuan companies like MS really don't care about us)
