The following error message appears when i'm trying to
install any programs onto my computer

"C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. - The System file is
not suitable for running MSDOS and Microsoft WIndows
applications."

Your Autoexec.nt is missing.
Copy the one from windows\repair into system32.
If you have the same problem I'm having you may need to do
this everytime.
