C:\Windows\Installer - where?

Dell "broke" the Add/Remove button for the MyWay removal that comes
pre-installed on their computers. One method of removal involves locating
the proper filename.msi and right-clicking it to uninstall and remove. The
post mentions locating the file in the C:\Windows\Installer directory.

Apparently not everyone must have a C:\Windows\Installer directory because I
cannot locate it on my computer but do have .msi files elsewhere.

What determines whether the C:\Windows\Installer directory is present or
not?

It seems like many do not think Dell has done a good job with removal of it!
negster22's way looks promising!
