C++ Runtime Error

When I go to certain websites on IE I get this message:

C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error
C:\Program files\Internet Explorer\explorer.exe
abnormal program termination

And then the browser closes.


Any ideas??

Start > Run > regedit
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser
Helper Objects

Make a backup of browser helper objects and start deleting the folders found
under it.. should be folders with strings of numbers..
Test your explorer again.. if it doesn't works.. restore from the backup

than navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Backup the whole Internet Explorer and delete it
Test again.. restore if it doesn't work

Check for spywares or any 3rd party toolbars too
