I have been having problems with the computer getting a
blue screen error then rebooting. Cant read the error
codes due to them vanishing so quickly. This last time it
rebooted, you cant make out the video on the screen.
Drivers? not sure how to reinstall drivers if I cant make
out any of the screen after it boots up. Somone told me
to try the repair on the xp disc, but I have know idea
how to do it.

Well think of it as a quick quiz: those who can't manage to read the error
codes, just aren't technical types and thus won't be able to make sense of
this info anyway :)
Find somebody who is technical, or call a specialist.

Windows saves the error info in a dump file on your disk.
The technical types I wrote about :) know where is this file and how to decode it
(it isn't plain text).

It doesn't sound like the OP is able to even see anything in Windows.
Questions for the OP:

1. Can you see anything when you first turn on your computer (before
Windows loads)? Ex. The Windows Logo appears ok.

2. Can you can see the BIOS, etc. If so, try a repair installation. To
do this, boot off your Windows XP CD, select to install Windows, it will
find the existing installation and offer to repair it, press R to repair
and let Windows Setup do its thing.
