Builds, how do I make 2 items appear at once?

I read a post from Feb 2005 saying to use the "Slide Show > Custom Animation"
and I have built everything on one slide. What I need to happen is for a
Text box full of bullet points to appear with a graphic I've created in
Powerpoint. The graphic has 3 different colored boxes that I've grouped
together.

So here's the list:

Text box with multiple bullet points
3 colored boxes that are grouped together
I'm using the *Appear* transition

All of the above must appear on screen at the same time.

Thanks in Advance

Animate the text box with multiple bullet points..."Appear"
then...animate and select "with previous" 3 colored boxes that are grouped
together
Hope this helps!!!

Using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, add an entrance effect (Slide Show >
Custom Animation. Add effect > Entrance > Appear) to the textbox.
Right click on the appear effect, select effect options to bring up the
properties.
Click Text Animation.
Under Group text, select "All paragraphs at once".

Now click on the graphics and the entrance effect.
Change the Start: "On click" to "With Previous".

2 items to add

1) none of the grouped shapes should be a placeholder. If one is, copy the
placeholder, paste it back and then delete the original. (This creates a
non-placeholder identical to the original). Then group the objects. Now
the appear should work.

2) always tell us what version of PowerPoint you are using, since abilities
and methods change lot between versions.
