(e-mail address removed) sends a email with a PDF atached to two accounts
([email protected] and (e-mail address removed)) the (e-mail address removed) received the
email with the pdf atached but the (e-mail address removed) only receive the email
without the atachment...

what is the problem?????

both recipients using the same mail client?

both users on the same mailbox server? (if the answer here is no, is there
anything server side that could tamper with the attachment(s)?)

I can think of things that would cause this, most of them caused by the
sender. You'll need to supply a lot more information, however, like what
version of Outlook the recipients are using, what types of accounts, what
clients the senders are using, whether or not they receive any error
messages and, if so, what those messages say before any diagnosis can be
proffered.

I don't have idea about the details of the sender... but for example if

(e-mail address removed) send the pdf atachment to

(e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed)

(e-mail address removed) doesn't receive the atachment, and
(e-mail address removed) receive fine

but if

(e-mail address removed) send the pdf atachment to
(e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed)
both of them receive the atachment!!!

after some tests

(e-mail address removed) sends to:
(e-mail address removed) (received only email)
(e-mail address removed) (received email + atachment)
(e-mail address removed) (received email + atachment)

(e-mail address removed) sends to:
(e-mail address removed) (received email + atachment)
(e-mail address removed) (received email + atachment)
(e-mail address removed) (received email + atachment)

my email server is exchange server 2003 standard SP1 and the clients Outlook
2003
(only one server)

(e-mail address removed) (mailbox store A)
(e-mail address removed) (mailbox store A)
(e-mail address removed) (mailbox store B)

It's likely, however, the sender's issue and you as the recipient can do
nothing about it.

I have had a similar problem to Josky recently. I have, for a long time sent
e-mails in a rich text format with PDF file attachments with no problems.
Recently, I have been notified by many of the receipients of my e-mails that
they were not getting the attachments, or that they could not open them.
What could have happened to cause this???

I have Norton anti virus running and have for a long time too.

Only Outlook can read Rich Text message attachments. If you send Rich Text
to a non-Outlook-using recipient, they cannot see the attachments. This has
always been true.

Does user "b" see the attachment if they access their mailbox via OWA?

Also, is Outlook 2003 in cached mode? If yes, what is their Cached Exchange
Mode experience set to? (See File > Cached Exchange Mode > ...)
