I was removing a particularly nasty piece of spyware, and
after getting it out, found that it had left a trusted
entry in the trusted sites list (and also locked the list)
a little registry hacking later, I was able to remove it,
but it popped right back in.. a little more registry
hacking later, I got it out. I still wasn't sure it wasn't
going to be added back, and tried to add the entry to the
restricted sites list. I got a popup from MSAS asking if I
wanted to allow that address to be added to the trusted
sites list. Of course, I said no.
Well, now I realize, it was talking about the restricted
sites list.
Now I can't add that entry to the restricted sites list
(it blocks me automatically).
