bug in spyware beta1?

when i make a new file with the name code.vb or say
codeb.vb and try opening this file, i get an alert from
spyware with a severe threat. the file is harmless as i
have created it, and the fact that it is empty. is this a
bug in spyware beta1?

If the reference you see is to poebot.explorer, I'd say this is a false
detection at this point.

I've replicated your experience--this same warning is also seen if you
create a file called test.bat which is empty.
