Buffer overrun in IE 5.5

James

Hi,
I'm running IE5.5 on WinNT4 and the program won't start. I
get the following error message:
Buffer overrun detected! Program: iexplore.exe A buffer
overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's
internal state. The program cannot safely continue
execution and must now be terminated.
I have tried reinstalling with no success. Windows does
not give me the option to uninstall IE5.5 and installing
IE6 yields the same result. My PC is virus-free according
to McAfee. Has anyone seen this problem?
Thanks,
James

James,
That type error is usually parasite related ...
