BSOD after installing magic partition 8

hi,
i installed margic partition 8 on vista, and launched the program to make
some partition changes on an external hard drive. To apply the changes, i had
to reboot my computer. But now i get a message before lauching windows asking
me to "repair windows", or "start windows normally": when i make "repair
windows", the very same page with those 2 options reloads. When i make "start
windows normally", i get a blue screen just at the moment where windows vista
is loading.
I tried to start windows on safe mode, but i get the same blue screen error.
None of the options works (back to last good config etc), and i can't start
windows!
How can i fix the problem? does anyone has an idea please?
thanks

well i only have a recovery dvd from asus with vista preinstalled on it. When
i run it, i can only make a recovery and erase all data. Which totally
impossible of course!

Hi,

PM 8 is not compatible with Vista, and this is why. It cannot handle the
NTFS implementation used in Vista. Try detaching the external drive first if
that is the only drive you attempted to operate on, you might get lucky.
Otherwise, you might try booting the Vista DVD and using the startup repair
function.

We are beating a dead horse Rick. We post here constantly that PM8 is
***NOT*** compatible with Vista and someone usually posts back that it is.

Folks, IT ISN'T compatible! Stay away from it if you value your data.

PM8 is not supported under Vista. Norton/Symantec specifically does not list
Vista as PM8 is not compatible with the implementation of NTFS used by it.
You will likely need to reinstall the operating system cleanly at this
point.
