Browsing secure web (on line banking)

Originally, I used MSN as an ISP provider for my laptop
and could browse from website to website including secure
websites that I used to do my online banking. I installed
AOL and from that day forward I can't browse secure
websites to do my online banking. I cant even do
a "windows update". I turned to AOL for help but that
didnt do any good. They told me to clear my cache on for
my internet explorer browser and reset the defaults in the
Progam tab in the internet options. . I have checked all
of my security settings against my other pc I use at
home. I have XP for my operating system and IE 6.0 with
128 cypher strength Does anyone have
a solution?

You have your reasons for changing ISP, I know what I
would do.
