browser won't close

For some reason my IE 6.0 browser won't close no matter
what I do. I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL if I want to close it.
Also the tab button doesn't seem to work when I'm in
Internet explorer. When I'm using another application I
have to click twice in the IE window to make it come to
the front. Can anyone help me with this?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ Remove items listed in red- others are
optional.

If not caused by malware, consider disabling (for diagnostic purposes)
legitimate programs running in the background which might be interacting
with IE- security, antivirus, etc. You may have to uninstall then reinstall
a program.
