browser hi-jacked

Hi
My I.E. browser has been hi-jacked. I have run mcafee virus, spy sweeper, ad-aware 6, and cws shredder. After each clean, i restart and about every other time cws shredder tells me it restored 4 registry items under internet explorer. I use an sbc browser and aol (which show no signs of infection) and I.E. My office network will not allow me to access the network until I correct this problem. I tried to delete I.E. through add/remove but its still there

Thank you very much. I ran hijack this and found the 5 items and deleted them. How do i prevent this from happening again
