is it possible to browse for a excel workbook from a visual studio 2005
express edition button then open in .
havnt had much luck with this in the vb forums

Do you mean from a button in a VS2005 *application* ?

from a button which will browse a excel file then open the selected in the
excel application for editing.

Ask this in a .NET group and you're more likely to get an answer. VBA is a different language.
