broken hyperlinks

FP 2092 tells me that I have several broken hyperlinks but when I manually
check them on my published website they work. I ran "recalculate hyperlinks"
but FP still informs me that they are broke.

Any way to fix this?

Just ignore the items that you have manually tested.

That's because you're using FrontPage 2092 and it doesn't exist yet!!
;-)

Actually, if these are links to other sites, they can show as broken when thy actually
aren't because the server is set to not respond to the type of request FrontPage sends to
check the link.
Some servers are set this way to prevent Denial of Service attacks.

Recalculate hyperlinks in your web and then try the broken link report.

Keep in mind that files called by javascript can show as unlinked files
