Bridge conection

Hi.
Friend had pc that was linked to his ps2 with a crossover cable. He had pc
problems so i put his drive into my pc, scanned for viruses. fixed it and
gave him his drive back...his is fine. Now mine thinks it has a bridge
conection on a network.
I cannot join the web ADSL. I've gone into the services ( off of my
computer) and checked the error measages Error 711.( a configuration error on
this pc is preventing this conection) tried to fix it and i get error 5 and
error 1068. And i cannot delete the network settings.
Any help would be great
