bootstrap error

i downloaded msn messenger 7.5 on my computer and i saved it on my desktop.
when i open it and install it, it installs to 100% but then it says error
creating process , bootstrap.exe. reason the system cannot find the path
specified.
Ive dowloaded multiple msn messengers from different sites but the same
thing happends. Please helppp!!!!!!
