boot error after installing SP4

Hello:

Kept getting an error message whenever I tried to launch various
programs. Read on here and MS's support site the error was a known
problem with W2k SP3. So, I installed W2k SP4; however, now I can't
even boot up normally. (I can boot into safe mode.)

When the Window's screen comes up it freezes then turns blue and says:

***STOP: 0x0000000A (0xBAD0B0BC, 0x000000FF, 0x00000000, 0x80416B67)
***ADDRESS: 80416B67 base at 80400000, DateStamp 3ee6c002 -
ntoskrnl.exe

What does this mean?

Thanks!

Likely you have a misbehaving piece of hardware, or a poorly-written driver
(or one which doesn't play well with SP4).

Your best course of action is to disable all unnecessary hardware (NIC,
sound card, etc.), set your display adapter to display a smaller number of
colours at a smaller resolution, and try to reboot normally. If your system
seems stable afterwards, start changing your display adapters back and
re-enabling hardware until the problem occurs.

Once you find what's causing the problem, try updating the drivers for the
particular hardware, or swapping that piece of hardware with another like
piece.

Of course, the problem could be that something in your windows install is
corrupt, so perhaps you should try to re-install SP4 again beforehand.
