Blue Screen when Upgrading from XPSP2 Home to XPSP2 PRO

I keep getting a Blue Screen of death when Upgrading from XPSP2 Home to XPSP2
Pro. The error happens when it says there are 34 min. left. The error
states:

BAD_POOL_CALLER

Anyone have any ideas about why this would happen???

This is my home machine and now it's stuck halfway through an installation
and I can't use it. Don't want to lose my programs or data.

Help!!!
