Blue-screen errors

Need real help. Have a Dell laptop that ramdomly blue-
screens. I've looked at memory, drivers, re-load OS, and
still get blue-screen. The errors are
Stop 0x000000LE (0xC0000005, 0xEB502C70, 0x00000000,
0x00000004)Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled.
and
Stop 0x4000008A (0x819BA020, 0x8187EC64, 0x00000000
0x00000000) A Kernel thread terminated while holding a
mutex (?not sure what was the rest of the message, user
did not write it down).
I have been working on this for weeks. I looked into the
printer driver, scanner driver, VPN, and standard image
with no end results. I have found close Knowledge base
items, but no cigar!

Does the machine have an Nvidia based graphics card in it?

PS Its for XP but perhaps some pointers
