My other computer which is running on Win XP Pro SP2 encounters a blue screen
error "kernel_inpage_error_data" or something close to that. Mountdrv.sys or
something like that was also mentioned.
After I restart my computer, it can't load to the Windows screen (in DOS)
and stop at the screen with "MAC"... "DCHP"... and there are some numbers
like 0002x 003x 0006.
Then it halts and says Boot Failure and System Halted.
Afterwards, I check the error log in Help and Support center, and see errors
of the same message "IdeChnDr" and "The device, \Device\Ide\IdeDeviceP0T0L0,
did not respond within the timeout period."
However, I have updated my hard disk drivers and no devices in my system has
a conflict. There is simply no obvious sign of the cause.
Please help me.
