Version of Outlook? What is the extension used by the scan?
1. If you bought a suite, apply the cost to the apps you really wanted and
Outlook is free.
Then use the email client that meets your needs the
best - not the one you think you paid big bucks for.
2. What file type is the scan? What email client does the recipient use?
Although Outlook says it blocks the attachment, it will still send it and
the recipient will receive it. Whether their Outlook will "hide" it is
another matter...
Normally outlook does not block images so either the scan is a non-standard
image format or the installation is messed up. Until we figure out which it
is, you can zip the image and send the zip. You can also edit the registry
to unblock the file type, although it is not necessary for the sender. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.asp - however, standard
image extensions should not be added to the registry. I don't recommend
touching the registry until we know the file extension.
