I can only boot into safe mode,when I try to boot
normally I get to the windows splash screen and then my
monitor shuts down but my computer is still on.I
downloaded the patch last week but on friday 15th I was
online for 2 min. and my computer shut down and it hasn't
been the same since.I am running win xp pro.I deleted the
blaster.exe from my system32 folder but still have same
problem.I cannot even enable firewall in win xp from safe
mode either.Can anyone help?

There are 2 more variants out now.
The exes for the variants are teekids.exe and penis32.exe
Kelly's script kills all 3 variants.

If you are having trouble staying up to get the patch and removal tool:
When the shutdown prompt appears,go to start/run and type
shutdown -a to abort the shutdown process to allow you to stay up and
online.


You may also be infected with the W32 Spybot worm.
